Your guide to the Big Ambitions map
Find a place for your next business, explore a neighborhood, or see where your vehicles were last exported. BA Maps brings the city into your browser.
Find your next location
The interactive map shows the vanilla city from Big Ambitions. Search for an address, building type or neighborhood, then select a building to inspect its available details.
- Locate shops, warehouses, offices and residential buildings.
- Find services such as banks, recruitment agencies and wholesalers.
- Compare available floor area, capacity and traffic information.
- Switch between a 3D view and a locked top-down view.
You can explore without installing a mod. The public map uses generic city data, not someone else’s save.
Move around the city
- Drag with the left mouse button to move; drag with the right button to orbit.
- Use the mouse wheel to zoom.
- Press T for the top-down view and Q / E to rotate.
- Use the search button to find a place and filters to choose which markers are visible.
The scenery loads progressively. The 3D map requires JavaScript, WebGL and a device capable of rendering the scene. These guides remain available on less powerful devices.
Show your own game with Atlas Live Export
The mod is optional. It creates snapshots of the game you have loaded. The site reads those exports only after you choose their folder.
- Download the mod and installation guide. Extract the archive and follow its README to install Atlas Live Export in your game’s ModsLocal folder.
- Restart Big Ambitions and load your save. In Options → Mods → Atlas Live Export, run an export.

Open My game on the map, then choose the same
export folder. The default is
Documents\BigAmbitionsAtlas.
The site can then display your exported building and vehicle data.
These are snapshots, not live GPS tracking. If folder access is
unavailable, use the advanced import options to read an
atlas-…json snapshot manually.
Your save and export files are not uploaded to our servers. Folder access, imported history and map cache belong to this browser on this device.
Before you explore
Is BA Maps an official Big Ambitions site?
No. BA Maps is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Hovgaard Games. Game names, models, textures and data belong to their respective rights holders.
Does the map show changes from my save automatically?
The public map shows the vanilla city. Personal information is available only after importing exports from your own game. An older export may differ from your current save.
Why do some buildings have no financial information?
Financial details depend on what the selected export contains. A missing balance is not a zero balance. The mod cannot reconstruct a day that is no longer available in the game’s reports.
Will I need to reconnect after changing the website address?
Yes. Browsers keep local storage and folder permissions separate for each website address. On bamaps.org, choose your export folder again. Your export files and game saves remain on your computer.
